There were 24,490 non-Hispanic white students enrolled in Lorain County school districts in the 2024-25 school year, 2.6% less than the previous year, according to reports from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

Data showed that Lorain County school districts welcomed 38,144 students during the 2024-25 school year. Among them, non-Hispanic white students comprised 64.2% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the county’s school districts.

Among the 14 school districts in Lorain County, North Ridgeville City School District recorded the highest enrollment of non-Hispanic white students in the 2024-25 school year, with a total of 3,673 students.
