May 2021: Lorain experienced a 25.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2021 in Lorain rose by $14,250 while total sales increased by 22%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2021, there were 100 homes sold, with a median sale price of $69,500 - a 25.8% increase over the $55,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 82 homes sold in Lorain in May 2020.

The median sales tax in Lorain for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,358, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for May 2021.
