The second quarter of 2021: Wellington experienced a 13% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Wellington fell by $23,350 while total sales increased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $156,650 - a 13% decrease over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Wellington in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,428, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
