The second half of 2021: Penfield Junction experienced a 17.1% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Penfield Junction rose by $15,500 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,000 - a 17.1% increase over the $90,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Penfield Junction in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Penfield Junction for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,659, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
