The second half of 2021: Home prices in Laporte increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Laporte rose by $8,250 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $155,000 - a 5.6% increase over the $146,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Laporte in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Laporte for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,850, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
