What happened to the median home price in Wellington during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Wellington fell by $5,000 while total sales increased by 43.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 102 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,000 - a 2.8% decrease over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 71 homes sold in Wellington in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,428, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
