Oberlin median home prices rose by 38% in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Oberlin rose by $55,100 while total sales decreased by 12.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 64 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 38% increase over the $144,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 73 homes sold in Oberlin in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Oberlin for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,573, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
