The second half of 2021: Home prices in LaGrange increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in LaGrange rose by $47,600 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 44 homes sold, with a median sale price of $297,500 - a 19% increase over the $249,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in LaGrange in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in LaGrange for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,223, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
