Pricing for the median home in Wellington decreased during the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Wellington fell by $44,000 while total sales increased by 41.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,500 - a 22.3% decrease over the $197,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Wellington in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,428, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
