April: Oberlin experienced a 129.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Oberlin rose by $106,200 while total sales decreased by 38.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,000 - a 129.8 percent increase over the $81,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Oberlin in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Oberlin for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,573, approximately 1.4 percent of the median home sale price for April.
