Rep. Bob Latta, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 5th district since 2007, recently shared updates on local events and national milestones through his social media posts.
On September 12, 2025, Latta highlighted a community tradition, stating, "The Wyandot County Fair is in full swing this week! It is a wonderful fair to attend with your family. #WyandotCounty https://t.co/FMRsnRXNRM".
The following day, Latta turned attention to an upcoming historic occasion for the country. On September 13, he posted, "The 250th anniversary of our nation will soon be upon us. Look for events in your area to celebrate this milestone. #USA https://t.co/M8g5jiZUAU".
Later that same day, Latta commented on Bowling Green State University’s homecoming festivities: ".@bgsu’s homecoming is this weekend. To start things off, @Pres_Rogers officiated the renewal of vows to the Falcon Flames. Marcia wore her veil from our wedding 39 years ago.
Freddie the Falcon is celebrating his 75th birthday this year. Happy birthday Freddie! #BGSU https://t.co/4P2NjhHnXL".

He was born in Bluffton, Ohio in 1956 and currently resides in Bowling Green. Latta graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1978 and earned a law degree from the University of Toledo three years later.
