What happened to the median home price in Vermilion during the first quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Vermilion fell by $16,500 while total sales decreased by 72%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $97,000 - a 14.5% decrease over the $113,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Vermilion in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Vermilion for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,398, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
