Home prices decreased in Wellington during the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Wellington fell by $1,950 while total sales decreased by 68.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 1.3% decrease over the $151,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Wellington in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,428, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
