City of Avon issued the following announcement on January 18.
Avon Fire Department winter reminder from Fire Prevention:
Please remember to keep all vents that natural gas may exhaust clear of snow and ice, such as a hot water tank, gas dryer or stove that may have low exhaust points. This ensures that you will not get natural gas or CO returned to the living space.
