The City of Lorain wants to bring your attention to a critical development concerning the increased detection of influenza in untreated wastewater within our community.
For All Customers of the City of Lorain Utilities Department, the Billing Office Lobby and phone lines will be CLOSED on December 5th & 6th for software upgrades. During this time we will not be able to handle account inquiries, billing questions, bill payments and processing, and all other functions necessary to provide proper customer service. We anticipate re-opening on December 7, 2023 to resume normal operations.

There were multiple trucks on the Eastside of Lorain Tuesday picking up trash in all major areas. The Eastside should now be back on a normal schedule as well as the Southside.
