There were 5,717 students enrolled in Elyria City Schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.6% less than the previous year, according to the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.7% of them were boys, and 49.3% were girls.
