Rep. Bob Latta, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 5th district, recently shared several updates on his activities and acknowledgments via social media.

On June 17, 2025, Rep. Latta extended his congratulations to Olivia Trusty on her confirmation as an FCC commissioner by the Senate. He expressed his support for her appointment, stating: "Congratulations to Olivia Trusty on her Senate confirmation as FCC commissioner! A strong pick by @POTUS—Olivia was a great and hardworking member of Team Latta and brings experience from @HouseCommerce, as well as several other key roles on Capitol Hill."

The following day, June 18, 2025, Rep. Latta detailed his visits across Lorain and Huron County where he engaged with various local organizations. He wrote: "Started my day at Parker Aerospace Fluid Systems, then stopped by Lorain County Public Health, NEOEx Systems, Wellington Implement, and wrapped up at Fisher-Titus. Bob Latta has been serving in Congress since 2007 after succeeding Paul Gillmor. Prior to this role in the federal legislature, he served in various capacities within Ohio's state government including the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate.
